  • WHAT IS COVID?

"COVID" is a name of a virus that passes from one person to another person.

It’s likely COVID originated in bats, scientists say. Then it literally spread to pangolins and humans.

  • How does the virus spread among the people?

COVID-19 is a respiratory illness that spreads through droplets in people's coughs and sneezes. Being close to an infected person in short distance does greater risks to your health. While the person may not be aware, he/she may be infected and as and when they cough or sneeze, they're likely to contaminate the surfaces they touch, which when touched by others can cause the spread of COVID-19.

  • loss of speech or movement

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Limit social gatherings and time spent in crowded places.
  • Avoid close contact with someone who is sick.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces etc.
